The educational process of undergraduates
The academic load of undergraduates were developed taking into account their individual abilities and capabilities. One of the main arguments for this is compliance with the sequence of disciplines required for the working curriculum, compliance with the prerequisites and post-prerequisites of the discipline.
The individual curriculum of undergraduates fully reflects all the elements and components of educational programs at the level of training.
The academic load covers the entire educational activity of a master's student-lectures, seminars, term papers (projects), practical work, professional practice, Master's thesis (project), independent work, including work under the guidance of a teacher.
In determining the academic load of a student for every student is warned that the academic year consists of academic periods (semester – 15 weeks), periods of interim certification, practices, holidays, the period of final assessment (graduation rate), forms which are determined by the Department of higher and (or) post-graduate education on their own.
A catalog of elective descipline is provided to help undergraduates choose a trajectory and draw up an individual plan.
Previously, as a rule, in the spring, teachers conduct a presentation of the disciplines chosen by undergraduates, explain the features and advantages of any trajectory.
Advisors, undergraduates, and, if necessary, teachers will help you choose the training path. Undergraduates independently determine their individual learning path, which includes choosing elective disciplines and teachers for the next academic year, and obtaining data that allows them to make reasonable decisions.
When choosing a master's degree, the student is guided by the standard curriculum, the catalog of elective disciplines, the data obtained during the presentation, and the recommendations of the adviser. The choice of a master's student is registered in the automated system «Platonus».
Based on the choice of disciplines and teachers, individual master's curricula are compiled, which are approved by the Dean of the faculty and stored in the office and registration Department and undergraduates.
In addition, the master's student has the opportunity to choose the topic of the master's thesis, research supervisor.
A master's student is granted the right to complete a master's thesis on topics presented in the assigned topics, as well as topics not covered in it.
In the latter case, the master's student discusses with the prospective supervisor the rationale for the feasibility of development and the possibility of its implementation, taking into account the relevance of the topic, knowledge intensity, availability of available sources.
